Lighting Design Project for Mineral Museum, Freiberg, Germany

The old palace of Freiberg, Germany, was turned to be mineral museum. Because of different functions, the architect had to adjust the space inside to suit the new criteria. He provided the area for exhibition but not the exactly interior design. The task was to design image of lighting atmosphere and interior as well. This design project was a 4-person group work.

Concept: Transition of Mineral from rocks in the mine to be fine minerals on the earth.

Lighting Ambiance: By using gradation of brightness and colours of each floor to represent the transition of mineral.
